Dr Shree Datta is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working in London. She has over 23 years' clinical experience, specialising in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has a passion for health education. Her main priority is to deliver bespoke and personalised high quality care. Key specialist expertise areas include early pregnancy, heavy/painful/irregular periods, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, menopause, abnormal smears, contraception, vulval skin disorders and pregnancy and delivery. She has sat on national Boards for hospitals and the medical regulator, representing junior doctors in the UK. Her research in Ovarian cancer was awarded the Edgar Gentilli prize and Helen Lawson award. She is a keen advocate for patient education and has worked with Westminster Adult Education Service to deliver health education workshops to the public over the last three years, as well as working with corporate agencies to raise the profile of common health conditions such as the menopause and their impact in the workplace. She is regularly invited to lecture and teach other doctors and medical health professionals, sharing her expertise. She currently works as Colposcopy Lead in her NHS department, driving quality assurance in cervical smears and screening. Additionally, as a result of her experience and her caring approach, she is regularly headhunted by medical colleagues to mentor and guide them through challenges in the workplace.
