About

I'm a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with over 20 years of clinical experience, working with people of all ages. My areas of clinical expertise include weight management, paediatric eating disorders and ARFID, nutritional genetics, nutrition for mental health and therapeutic ketogenic diets. I’m registered with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). My professional experience guarantees confidentially of care. I use a personalised approach, with bespoke plans that are tailored to your unique nutritional and social needs. I also lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University where I teach about nutritional genomics, food allergies, feeding and eating problems and communication skills for undergraduate and postgraduate dietetic students. My Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences, and hospital dietetic training, were completed in Canada. In 2012, I earned a Master’s degree with Distinction, in Advanced Dietetic Practice at the University of Nottingham. I have also completed a postgraduate clinical accreditation in food and nutrition and genetics (Food and our Genome) at Monash University, Melbourne. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling the world and spending active time outdoors with my husband and our children. You are welcome to call to discuss your unique nutritional needs. One-off appointments, that include a personalised nutritional plan, are available. Nutritional support can also be arranged over several weeks or months for a more premium experience. Appointments are booked by video link in most cases, but some face to face appointments are available.
