About

I've always had a passion for food as far back as I can remember; one of my earliest memories is my father and I bent over my Granny's recipe for wheaten bread trying to read her writing...still not convinced I used the correct quantity of flour! I graduated from the University of Ulster, Ireland back in 2016 and have lived in the South East area for over 6 years. I've been a committee member for the South East BDA branch and have experience across a wide variety of specialties including Cystic Fibrosis, Gastroenterology and Intensive Care. I am registered with The British Dietetic Association and Health Care Professions Council. I currently work with individuals, across the UK, who are struggling to lose weight. I believe food is highly emotive and there are a multitude of reasons why we may struggle with our weight. I began my freelance career after seeing just how people get stuck in a 'diet cycle' and the need for trustworthy advice to help with weight loss. My aim is to provide guidance and empower you to make healthier choices to help you reach your own health and wellbeing goals. For some that may be as simple as improving their relationship with food. I will take the time to work with you and your individual needs. I split my time between NHS and private practice but can facilitate appointments Monday to Sunday via video or phone call. Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend appointments are available.
