Mr. Karoshi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 15 years of experience, currently practicing at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and seeing private patients at 108 Harley Street, London. He specialises in providing comprehensive care across a broad spectrum of women’s health needs, with a particular focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques, including advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
His key areas of expertise include the management of fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, subfertility, hormone replacement therapy, and benign gynaecology. Recently, Mr. Karoshi has been at the forefront of incision-free fibroid treatment (SONATA), using innovative radiofrequency technology to offer patients less invasive options and faster recovery times.
Hysteroscopic procedures, such as the removal of polyps, are among his specialties. He employs the latest technologies, including Truclear and Myosure devices, which are more fertility-friendly compared to traditional energy-based tools.
Following his primary medical qualification and training, Mr. Karoshi was awarded a prestigious fellowship by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. This enabled him to travel to Argentina to develop advanced skills in managing placental disorders, particularly in women with multiple caesarean sections. He further honed his surgical expertise through the Bernhard Baron Travelling Fellowship, enriching his proficiency in complex surgical procedures.
Since joining the specialist register in 2010, Mr. Karoshi has centred his practice on compassion and active listening. He believes every patient deserves to feel heard and supported, a principle that guides his personalised approach to care. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across both NHS and private sectors, he empowers patients with clear information and ensures they are actively involved in every step of their treatment journey.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Karoshi has contributed to academic medicine through multiple published papers and as co-editor of a leading textbook on postpartum haemorrhage, reflecting his commitment to advancing gynaecological care.
Mr. Karoshi firmly believes that medicine is not just about diagnosis and treatment, but about connection, reassurance, and preserving dignity—especially for patients who may feel frightened or powerless.
